Calling All Animators: CutOut Fest Needs You!

by Megan Caulfield | | Category: Opportunities | Permalink

Mexico’s International Animation Festival, CutOut, wants your animations to showcase at its annual event.

This year, the festival celebrates its fourth year and is hoping to include animations from across the world so that ideas, knowledge and artistic proposals can be exchanged.

Held in Queretaro, Mexico, animators are being asked to submit short films of no longer than 30 minutes long, which have been made within the past year and a half.

There are two categories that you can choose from; narrative and experimental.

To submit films for consideration please complete an online registration form or send the registration form in the post to the festival office.

In both cases it is mandatory to complete the online registration and upload 3 stills from your short film and 1 photograph of the film’s director.

Awards will be given for the best film in each category, as well as an audience and jury award.

The deadline for films is the 31st July 2012 so get creating!
