Submit Your Animated Short Films

Submissions are now open for our Shorts on Walls screenings at Flatpack Festival 2011!

Not only this, but we've teamed up with the BBC to screen your best animated shorts on the brand new BBC Big Screens in Birmingham and Coventry city centres, in our new quarterly programme Animation Forum WM Presents....

Shorts on Walls gives animators the chance to screen their latest animated works to a room full of peers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The event will be free to attend and starts at 6.30 on Thursday 24th March 2011 as part of the wonderful Flatpack Festival.

This time round, the event will also include a special screening and Q&A with the animators behind the latest animated DigiShorts; Best by Steven Spencer and All Consuming Love (Man in a Cat) by Louis Hudson.

To submit an animated short for Shorts on Walls and/or Animation Forum WM Presents, please post the following to our new address (below) by the deadline of Friday 11th March:

  • A DVD formatted copy of your film (for judging)
  • An uncompressed high-res QuickTime file on a DVD data disc

Please post all submissions to:

Animation Forum WM
NTI Birmingham
15 Bartholomew Row
Birmingham
B5 5JU

All submissions to Shorts on Walls will also be considered for Animation Forum WM Presents (please inform us if you would prefer to opt out of this screening programme for any reason).

If you would like to submit something just for Animation Forum WM Presents (i.e. if you've screened it at a previous Shorts on Walls, or it's a couple of years old), please include a note in the submission's envelope.

To attend the event, please RSVP via our Facebook event.
