Anim@te: Writing for Animation Workshops
27/01/2010
Animation Forum WM has teamed up with Script to bring you a series of day-long workshops on scriptwriting for animation this spring and if you haven't already been to one of these workshops, don't miss your chance as the final workshop takes place next week.
Devising Animated Narratives
Wednesday 14th April 2010, 10am-5pm
Using a mix of exercises and development strategies, the workshop aims to give animators tools to help them prepare, structure and pre-visualise their own animated narratives.
This Anim@te workshop takes place at The Bond, Birmingham, and be delivered by Professor Paul Wells, Director of the Animation Academy at Loughborough University, and author of 'Understanding Animation', 'Fundamentals of Animation', 'Re-Imagining Animation' and 'Scriptwriting.'
The workshop costs £50 (£40 concessions), with a 15% discount of the total price for anyone who has already booked four or more workshops at the full price. To make a booking or enquiry, pleas contact hamish.scadding@bcu.ac.uk.
The animation-geared workshops are part of a wider programme from Script that runs over the next few months. The programme is funded by Screen WM and a result of a collaboration between Script, Red Room Films, Animation Forum West Midlands and Hello Digital.
