
Animators, graphic artists and illustrators looking for a career in the games industry are running out of time to apply for Gamer Camp: Pro (a sister project of Animation Forum WM), which has just three places left on its intensive, industry-endorsed, training course.
Starting this September, Gamer Camp: Pro pits budding games artists and animators in teams with programmers, during working hours (Mon-Thu, 9-5), to give them the specific skills and experience needed to kick-start a career in games.

Warwickshire animation duo The Brothers McLeod are inviting AFWM members to an exclusive screening of their suitably bonkers TV pilot The Isle of Spagg.

FLIP Animation Festival is looking for AFWM members to animate stings for this year's festival through their new competition; Flippin' Stings.
"Your task is to create a 10 second animation sting," say the FLIP organisers, who will be using the stings throughout the festival and during screenings.

Flip Festival returns this October and is now calling for submissions.
FLIP International Animation Festival is back once more at Wolverhampton's Light House Media Centre from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 October 2011, and is inviting animators from all around the world to submit films of up to 15 minutes in length.
